Secret Fauna Small Art Dolls

These are the little sister versions to my larger Secret Fauna art dolls series. Secret Fauna are my collection of one of a kind art dolls inspired by forest life and mystical creatures. To construct these pieces, I use a combination of materials and trims from my 20 year + stash of new and vintage pieces. I love using found objects and repurposing vintage hankies and tea towels, resulting in outfits and accessories that make each doll truly unique and one of a kind.

Each doll's face is handpainted using a mix of ink pens and colored pencils which I then spray with a fixative to stay fresh and bright for many years to come. The larger version of these dolls measure about 14" from head to toe. Their arms and legs are floppy making them perfect for sitting and posing. They would be a lovely addition to any collection on a shelf or lounging around as a bed doll, or hung on a wall by the loop on her back.

Custom orders are always welcome. You may request hair color, eye color and dress colors you would like. I will send photos of your fabric and yarn options and discuss any special themes or details you'd like included.
